Remote Support Options

Solutions IT can set gain remote access to your school via the following options:

 

 VPN (Virtual Private Network)

This option is the preferred option to allow us access to your network.  We will be able to access your network on demand to provide the highest level of support whenever you require it.  Solutions IT have secure VPN connection methods for Government schools via the Western Australian Department of Education and also to Catholic Schools via CathEdNet.  We can also work with Independent schools to utilise individual school based VPN connections.  Contact us for more information on how to enable a VPN connection for us to be able to support you.

 

Solutions IT Webex Connection

Solutions IT also utilise Webex.  Webex is a Cisco product that enables us to gain remote access to any computer anywhere.  Webex works by us creating a support session and then inviting you to join the support session.  Once you join the support session you will be prompted to allow us remote access.  This will provide us with remote access for the duration of that session.  Next time we require remote access you will need to join a new session to allow us access.
